I LOVE color! I am passionate about all photography, particularly anything colorful like flowers, insects, animals and nature. Close-up photography is another passion of mine. I love discovering which insects live in my backyard and what they look like close up, it's fascinating to me! The majority of insect images you see on my site have been taken with a Canon 5D Mark IV and a Canon 100 mm macro lens, all handheld. I also love sitting at my computer for hours, creating fine art with many of my images.
I am an award winning photographer and currently I live in northern Rhode Island. I am member of the Stony Brook Camera Club located in Franklin, Massachusetts where I am known as "The Bug Whisperer". I've worked as a photojournalist for 3 years for a local paper, The Valley Breeze. I am a volunteer photographer for the Blackstone Heritage Corridor, photographing the historical places located in the corridor.
I am a Canon shooter and currently use a Canon 5D Mark IV, Canon 7D Mark II AND my iPhone X.
